Wreck Warrior's Valiant

Wreck Warrior's version of the Valiant is built from an AMT 74 GTX (Roadrunner). Here is what he had to say about it:

I decided the stock dash couldn't be made RHD so I took one that was already started and a spare guage panel from the parts box. I made new mounts for the dash and cut the top a little to clear the windsheild. Turns out I cut too much and had to make a filler panel to cover the hole between the firewall and the gauges. Once the dash fit (or close enough) I bought a new dremel tool. After a few cuts and some filing and sanding, the trunk lid was gone. The package shelf and backseat were next, but because of the design of the interior and the frame I had to leave the seat cushion alone or risk screwing up the entire model. The rear fenders were probably the hardest to build; it took a lot of cutting, filling, and test fitting before they would fit and sit level. I used a piece of flat plastic to cover the gas tank, then I added a mount for the dartgun (which is made from the hydraulics from a lowrider kit). The exhaust stacks are scratch-built from curved model tree, and I scratchbuilt the front end and 'leg slicer' airdam. The body is spray painted flat Camo green and the skull-bat and the symbols on the sides of the roof are handpainted. The rear bumper was sort of a last minute addition; I took a bumper from the parts box and cut the stock license plate mount off and built the 'box'. It's funny that this car is supposed to be (and used to be) a Dodge, 'cause it's made mostly from Chevy parts. The dash is out of a 71 Chevelle, and the taillights are from a 70 Chevelle. The gauge panel is from a 69 Camaro, the rims are from a Corvette, and the seat and rear bumper are from a 62 Impala.

Wreck Warrior recently updated his Valiant:

I made a few changes to my VH Valiant model: more accurate wheels and tires, lifted the rear suspension a little, replaced the single Impala seat with 2 Dodge seats that look more like the ones in the movie, cut out the backseat part and filled in the gap between the interior and the trunk, and raised the dart gun up a little. I think that's about it.

The updated pics are at the bottom.
