1/87 Resin Tanker

This model is made by an Ebay seller called flaktrap. He (or she) apparently makes these kits one by one, so no mass producing here. He has no website or anything, so if you want one you'll have to keep an eye on Ebay. I'm not sure if you would consider them production models or not, but I'll just leave them here.

This is a resin kit of the Mack truck with the tanker trailer. The kit contains the Mack, tanker, wheels, mirrors, detail parts, seat, and extra parts to build the movie version, whatever that means. The seller warns that the kit needs a lot of work. It seems you will be removing model imperfections, sanding, puttying, etc; what I think you might expect from a garage resin kit. If you like your models to be dead on, there are a number of things wrong with this kit, such as: incorrect exhaust pipes, cow pusher, spike turrets on the tanker, the tire armor, the tanker its curved at the front as it should be, and its missing the right hand side air cleaner, just to name a few things. But, if you are a big tanker fan, this may be the kit for you.
