Bronze21's Second Red XA

Bronze21 has plans to build a Red XA from an Aoshima Interceptor kit. Here is what he has to say about it:

I've started on the red XA using the Aoshima kit. The first few things I had to do to make it into an XA was grind the bonnet completely flat, fill in the twist-lock pins and bonnet scoops, sand off the side flutes, fill in the roof spoiler hole after sanding it off, cut the wheel arch openings in the quarters and guards, cut/fill in the boot lid and backlight crossmember, and cut the crossbar out of the tail lamps to make the slanted recessed XA assembly. I then cut the rear seat cushion out of another Aoshima kit and turned it and glued it into position for a seat back. The bonnet bulge is three pieces: two strips of styrene split by a brass rod forming the center ridge. The rear wheels are from a 69 Charger kit, mounted to the front Interceptor rims, with 12-slotter inserts glued in place. The front tires are the rears from the Interceptor kit, with modified wheels to fit the 12-slotters (TBD). I used custom-modified seats to look more like an XA and put a different steering wheel in. I'm getting ready to put the package tray in, and modify the 69 Charger grill to make it into an XB grill by sectioning it and combining it with 69 Shelby headlight buckets (70 Cuda grills are the BEST that I've found to make XB grills).
