Ken Stone's Camaro Interceptor
Ken Stone did something a little different and made a Camaro based
Interceptor. Here is what he had to say about it:
Modifications are extensive -
Base kit - Revell 1982 Camaro custom molded in yellow.
Hood from AMT Mustang.
Boot/trunk opening from a Revell T-bird custom molded in pink.
Engine from pulling "tractor" orange-crate special (or some such)
Wheel rims made from parts of Monogram speed record car, and Revell
hubcaps
from some front-wheel drive thing from the 90's.
Fuel tanks - 1/35 44 gallon drums with Revel moon disks on ends.
Tyres - AMT.
The entire body was extensively modified, with front guards/fenders
converted to Ford type, and Mustang hood also modified to suit. Rear
quarter
panels and pillars extensively modified, and open-trunk area created
with
trunk area from pink T-bird and Mustang parts. Modifications were done
entirely in plastic, using a soldering iron (sitting OUTSIDE!).
