HUMVEE Driver's custom GTO
An option for anyone is to take existing die cast cars or trucks and customize them into post apocalyptic road warriors. I turned a 1969 GTO into one such vehicle. I removed the hood and mounted a .50 caliber machinegun for the passenger to use; with the mounts 'welded' to the frame. In the rear I added a large flamethrower, in a set up similar to the Valiant from The Road Warrior. The flamethrower is complete with its own fuel tanks. I also scuffed up and painted the entire vehicle. Here are some pictures of it:
